Pride Hotels expands in India

The Pride Group of Hotels has embarked on a INR8 billion (US$165 million) expansion plan, Anil Mathur reports. Over the next six years, Pride will open new hotels in Goa, Mumbai, New Delhi, Hyderabad and Alibaug. At present the chain has 1,000 rooms in hotels in Pune, Nagpur, Ahmedabad, Chennai and Bengaluru. The company plans to part finance the expansion through a INR2 billion initial public offering.
