Singapore 9 November 2009 Tiger Airways today celebrated another step in its expanding network with the announcement that it will fly twice a day between Hong Kong and Singapore from 1st February 2010.
Rosalynn Tay, Managing Director of Tiger Airways Singapore said “I am absolutely delighted to be adding Hong Kong to our network. There is nothing better than working for a growing airline and the announcement of Hong Kong marks the addition of 6 routes to the Tiger Airways network in 2009 alone! From now on Tiger Airways will go bonkers in Honkers with crazy low fares. “
Hong Kong is a world famous holiday destination, business hub and gateway to China and now with super low fares, so many more people can visit and enjoy the thriving nightlife, eating and shopping that Hong Kong has to offer. Tiger Airways flights are perfectly timed to allow travelers the flexibility they need. Flights depart Singapore at 07:55 arriving into Hong Kong in time for an early lunch at 11:35 or if you prefer a leisurely afternoon departure from Singapore at 16:35 you can arrive into Hong Kong at 20:20.
Rosalynn Tay said, “Hong Kong’s status as a tourist and business destination, the demand for low fares and the ongoing success of the Tiger Airways across Asia mean that now is the time for growth. I have literally had friends tell me that we have been bonkers not to have Hong Kong in our network - Well now I can tell them not to worry as the best way to Hong Kong is on Tiger Airways. It is now so cheap to travel between each city that you will be able to spend more on shopping and eating.”
