BA cabin crew to strike over festive season

British Airways cabin crew have voted strike from 22 December to 2 January. According to a BBC report, employees are unhappy about job cuts and changes to contracts. BA has reduced the number of cabin crew on long-haul flights, and has frozen pay for two years. BA Chief Executive, Willie Walsh, was reported saying that the decision was “cynical” and demonstrated “a lack of concern for our customers, our business and other employees”.
