Shanghai could leapfrog London as the world’s second global financial centre in the coming decade, according to a report. The survey, carried out by legal firm Eversheds and reported by the BBC, showed that more than 90% of Shanghai companies are confident in their economic outlook, compared with just 22% in London. New York City is expected to remain as the world foremost financial centre, with London and Shanghai vying for second place.
