07 Jan 10 (TravMedia.com): Audi Victoria Week is set to burst into lifefrom January 21 to January 26 and visitors to Australia’s largestsailing event are in for a treat!
The name might have changed - from Skandia Geelong Week - and the program will be different but punters can expect the same high-adrenalin sailing and entertainment, including live bands and fireworks.
And visitors can expect to scoop a bargain boating holiday at the regatta - extended for the first time to six days to include Australia Day – thanks to one of the event’s longest-running sponsors.
Sunsail, the world’s leading sailing holiday company, will be at the regatta for the 13th year running and will be dishing out some amazing show-only bargains to celebrate.
Visitors can find the Sunsail stand in the grounds of the Royal Geelong Yacht Club as part of a free trade exhibition that also includes music, food and drink.
“We just love attending Audi Victoria Week every year and love the buzz and excitement associated with it,” said Sunsail’s marketing manager Kim Silcock.
“It is a fantastic forum for professional, recreational and novice sailors to get together and enjoy action packed days of fun, racing and social action. There are also plenty of activities and entertainment for non-sailors and of course some great Sunsail bargains!”
Visitors to the Sunsail stand can ask for information, have a chat about what’s new, book a holiday in person and take advantage of the fantastic one-off discounts.
Sunsail has its Australian base in the Whitsundays, north Queensland, where it has 37 high specification yachts and catamarans available for charter.
Sunsail also has bases across 29 cruising grounds all over the world including Tahiti, Tonga, Thailand and Malaysia. Guests can charter a luxury yacht - with or without a skipper - for an unforgettable escape at any of these exotic destinations, experience a holiday with a difference at a Watersports Beach Club, learn the ropes at Sunsail’s professional Sailing Schools or join an exhilarating corporate regatta.
