Air France will expand its long-haul flight network when its summer 2011 flight schedules begin on 27 March. The Paris-based carrier will launch five new destinations including Phnom Penh, which will be served with three weekly flights via Bangkok, using an Airbus 340-300 aircraft. Other long-haul destinations to be launched will be the Liberian capital Monrovia, Freetown in Sierra Leone, The Peruvian capital Lima, and Orlando, Florida. The rise in long-haul capacity will be supported by the launch of two new Airbus A380 destinations. From 22 April, Air France will begin operating daily superjumbo flights to Montreal, followed on 6 June 2011 by the launch of A380 services to Washington.
