Flights between Yemen and London could be restored as the country’s national carrier has appointed a sales representative in the UK and Ireland. Yemen Airways has signed a GSA agreement with APG to provide full sales and marketing services, as well as a call centre and ticketing facilities.”We are delighted to be partnering with Yemenia in the UK and Ireland at an exciting time when the airline is undertaking a major fleet renewal with the delivery of 12 A320s over the next two years followed by integration into the fleet of the airline’s order of A350 aircraft,” said Richard Burgess, managing director of APG in the UK. “We are equally hopeful that the airline will be able to re-launch its flights to London Heathrow in the not too distant future.”
