About The Team:
The FCM Digital team is a small, nimble team that is making a giant impact! Our mission is to create the new digital experience that will transform the corporate travel technology ecosystem. Acting as a start-up within a larger organisation, we are looking for a UX Copywriter who wants to be part of building an open platform where our customers, technology suppliers and travel providers can come together. The Role:
As UX Copywriter your role will cover the following:• You will be part of the Product Design Team working on the UX copy for the FCM Digital Experience for corporate travel customers.• You will work define the US English, baseline copy used for desktop and mobile interfaces, alerts & notifications, emails and other forms of customer engagement.• You will participate in the design stages for product missions so that copywriting is an integral part of product design.• You will ensure that the digital experience reflects the overall tone of voice for the FCM brand.• You will ensure consistency of UX copy and tone of voice across products built by multiple development teams (EU and US-based).• You will engage with the translation resources to ensure timely translation into the supported languages.• You will work with operations on creating and maintaining a self-service knowledge baseThe Expectations• You will focus on efficient copy that drives engagement with the platform and targets desired outcomes.• You will work in a user-centred design approach, drawing on user research to enhance and refine UX copy.• You will support the team in building a knowledge base for self-service help within the platform.• You will work with the FCM Marketing team to ensure consistent tone of voice for the FCM Digital Assistant in applications outside of the corporate travel platform.• You will define UX Copywriting guidelines (including tone of voice) so that other internal and regional teams can emulate the process.
What you bring:
• 3-5 years’ experience in copywriting with 2+ years working on digital applications (desktop, web or mobile).• Proven-track record of delivering short and effective UI copy in US English.• Knowledge of differences between US and International English markets desired.• Strong background in user-centred design and user research.• Experience in engaging with customers and internal stakeholders.• “Can do” attitude is mandatory.• Knowledge of the travel industry is a plus.
The Work Environment• We are a flexible team with the ability to work remotely or in several offices across Europe.• There will be occasional travel to meet face to face with colleagues.• You can set your work schedule to suit your work-life balance (as long as you are available during some core hours to collaborate with the team).• Core working hours will include some collaboration with teams based on the US West Coast (Pacific time zone, PT UTC -8:00 / -7:00).• You will have a budget to choose an office technology setup that works for you.• You will be part of a dynamic, energetic team that is committed to everyone’s success.• We are dedicated to help you grow as a professional.
