Oakwood adds new property in Chengdu

Oakwood has expanded its portfolio in China with the addition of a new serviced residence in Chengdu, Sichuan province. The 237-unit Oakwood Residence Funder Chengdu, located on the city’s Renmin Road South, becomes Oakwood’s fifth property in the country.

With the addition of Oakwood Residence Funder Chengdu, Oakwood will manage more than 1,000 serviced apartment units in six cities in China – Beijing, Hangzhou, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Hong Kong and Chengdu. The next Oakwood opening in the country will be in Guangzhou in early 2012, followed by further developments in Tianjin, Beijing and Chengdu.

Oakwood Residence Funder Chengdu offers 237 fully-furnished apartments, each with washer/dryer, Wi-Fi, flat-screen TV, DVD and home entertainment system, satellite TV channels, kitchen and housekeeping services. Other facilities include a business centre, meeting rooms, fitness centre, indoor swimming pool, sauna, restaurant, bar, dry cleaning and laundry services.
