Tiger Airways Australia will have to wait a while longer before its flight ban is lifted after its court hearing was postponed for a fourth time this morning. According to the Sydney Morning Herald, the appointment was actually delayed at the request of the airline which continues to prepare its responses to safety concerns fielded by the Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA). The regulator has completed its investigation and set out clear safety conditions which must be met before it will end the suspension to Tiger’s operating license. In a statement CASA said; “Tiger Airways has responded positively and has been providing CASA with the evidence necessary to demonstrate how it will meet the conditions.”?The two parties are working together to address the issues and Tiger saw no sense in having the hearing today until discussion are concluded. With the regulator’s approval, Tiger has asked to meet again on Friday afternoon. If the airline is cleared for take-off, services could resume as early as next week.
