La Residence Hue Hotel & Spa has joined Accor’s MGallery Collection. The 81 year-old boutique hotel is the third MGallery member property in Vietnam, following La Veranda Resort Phu Quoc and Hotel de l’Opera Hanoi.
The hotel, which was originally built as part of the French Governor’s official residence, features 122 guest rooms and suites with classic louvered shutters, hardwood floors and high ceilings. The Signature Suites, including the 76-square-metre Resident’s Suite, are all individually designed and decorated. At the centre of the hotel’s main building is Le Gouverneur Bar, while the fine-dining restaurant, Le Parfum offers Mediterranean and traditional Vietnamese dishes.
Launched in September 2008 by Accor, the MGallery Collection now covers five continents and will grow to more than 100 locations by 2015.
