Eurostar unveils first new Uniform in over a decade

From 1st October 2025, 2,600 Eurostar team members across all routes will proudly wear a new uniform collection, a design that reflects 30 years of heritage of trust while bringing the bold Eurostar twist, that sense of something special customers experience travelling with Eurostar, inspired by the European spirit.

Eurostar presented its new uniforms in Paris-Nord station during an exceptional catwalk on board one of its trains. Starting  today, Wednesday 1 October 2025, 2,600 employees working both on board and in the stations across all routes will wear the same uniform, a symbol of Eurostar service promise to its customers.

The design is inspired by the best of the European spirit: French elegance with the navy blue monochrome and simple cuts, Brussels and Amsterdam street art in the graffiti-print neckerchief echoing, and the British icon of self-expression with Green Dr. Martens.

The collection is designed by the French designer Emmanuelle Plescoff who previously worked with Christian Lacroix.

  A collection made to fit all genders, body types and personalities  

Designed to be inclusive and versatile, the 54-piece collection is interchangeable and made to fit all genders, body types, and personal styles, empowering staff to express their individuality while presenting a cohesive and professional appearance.

The collection was co-created for the very first time with 80 employees who contributed and deliberated over 2.5 years to ensure the uniforms meet their practical needs. Feedback from wearer trials shaped key design elements focused on comfort, elegance, and functionality — including breathable, stretchy fabrics with sports-inspired technology.

“Working with Eurostar has been a unique experience, as it is the first time I have seen a company place such strong emphasis on involving its employees in the creative process.” said Emmanuelle Plescoff, the designer behind the new collection. “This collaboration has resulted in a collection that balances simplicity, reliability, and a metropolitan flair, symbolized through signature accessories like green Dr Martens and a graffiti neckerchief.”

A sustainable manufacturing approach 

Eurostar’s new uniform is also a commitment to responsible sourcing and environmental care. Produced in factories located within the Euromed region, all manufacturing stakeholders meet stringent ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) standards, with verified worker welfare and sustainability certifications.

The fabrics were carefully selected for durability and eco-friendliness, favouring recycled polyester and organic cotton. In addition, Eurostar is launching a recycling campaign to repurpose old uniforms through partners Cepovett in France and Belgium, and Race Recycling in the UK, ensuring that materials are reused in products such as for example mattresses and hanging basket liners.

One uniform, one team   

Following last year’s successful launch of a unified commercial and culinary offering, the new uniform extends this spirit of cohesion and reinvention. For the first time, all Eurostar colleagues across its entire network will present themselves to customers with the same uniform, reinforcing the visual cohesion of the passenger experience.
