The airline is offering a 40% discount on prepaid extra baggage for bookings made throughout January 2026, aiming to provide greater value and convenience for passengers.
The discount applies to all Gulf Air passengers who purchase additional baggage through the airline's official channels at least 24 hours before departure. Economy Class passengers can choose from baggage allowances of 25kg, 30kg, or 35kg, whilst Business Class passengers have options of 45kg or 55kg. Additionally, passengers booking directly on gulfair.com receive an extra 5kg complimentary baggage allowance.
Christopher Binnion, Gulf Air's Senior Manager of Revenue Management, stated, "The enhanced prepaid baggage offer reflects Gulf Air's commitment to enhancing value and convenience for our passengers, particularly during peak travel."
Passengers can access the 40% prepaid baggage savings by visiting gulfair.com, contacting the Gulf Air Contact Centre, or visiting any Gulf Air sales office at least 24 hours before departure. This initiative aims to encourage passengers to plan ahead and utilise direct channels for a seamless travel experience.
