Aston International has entered into an agreement to manage the 320-room, four-star Aston Tunjungan Hotel & Convention Center in Surabaya. The new-build 20-storey hotel, which is owned by PT Indo Eka Citra Abadi, is scheduled to open in early 2013 and will feature Surabaya’s only revolving rooftop restaurant, a conference hall for 1,200 delegates, several meeting rooms, and a full-service spa with gymnasium.
Norbert Vas, Aston International’s Vice President of Sales & Marketing said; “The Aston Tunjungan Hotel & Convention Center has been conceptualised to become one of Aston’s flagship hotels in Indonesia and enjoys an ideal location in close proximity to Tunjungan Plaza making it an ideal hub for Surabaya’s economic and social activities.”
The Surabaya hotel will join a string of new Aston Hotels across the island of Java, including those in the cities of Cirebon, Purwokerto, Yogyakarta, Solo, Bojonegoro, Madiun and Malang.
