Abu Dhabi Airport Company (ADAC), the state-owned company that runs the emirate’s aviation facilities, is looking for international acquisitions to expand the company, Bloomberg reported.
“Our mandate is to build a global brand,” Rudy Vercelli, ADAC’s Chief Executive Officer, was quoted saying at the MEED Airport Projects conference in Dubai yesterday. “We’re interested if there is a strategic opportunity available,” he added.
ADAC operates five airports in the region, including Abu Dhabi International Airport and Al Ain Airport, but Vercelli did not expand on where the new acquisitions might be.
