The Abu Dhabi Tourism Authority (ADTA) has said that the city seen a 7% decline in hotel guests in the last three months, according to a Gulf News report. The authority’s Tourism Standards Division Director, Nasser Saif M. al Reyami, said however, that occupancy levels remained as high as 87% in Abu Dhabi’s hotels, and that the decline did not represent a serious problem for the UAE capital.
“Seven per cent is not a large decline in comparison to last year’s occupancy level, which ranged from 85 to 95%,” al Reyami told Gulf News.
