The Mercure Clear Mountain Lodge, Spa & Vineyard, located between the mountains of the D’Aguilar and Taylor Ranges in Queensland, has been reopened following a AU$6.5 million (US$6.7 million) refurbishment.
Now under Accor management, the resort, which lies 36km from Brisbane, offers 53 rooms and suites, all with private balconies. The resort’s spa, Stephanies Mountain Spa, contains six treatment suites, including a hydro couple’s suite, a grand VIP Bordeaux lounge and bath suite and a triple treatment room, as well as a manicure lounge, steam therapy cave and a unique hydro Swiss shower room.
General Managers Greg Pengelly and Teresa Aitken said; “We enjoy an exceptional outlook, boast the latest in purpose-built spa design, inspired cuisine, carefully chosen wines and accommodation designed to reflect the laid-back mood of the mountains. It’s a truly unique property,” said Pengelly.
F&B options include ‘Mandy’s on the Mountain Restaurant & Bar’, which uses locally-sourced ingredients, while ‘The Lodge’ is designed to cater for meetings and team building activities, with eight air-conditioned conference and function rooms. Other facilities include a large swimming pool, sun deck and full-size tennis court.
