ACE Cruise Convention is set to take place next month, with some 600 delegates attending. The event, which takes place 24-26 June will feature more business sessions than before, due to popular demand. New additions for agents include ‘how to market themselves as ‘cruise agents of choice’; ‘how to get the best out of networking opportunities’ and ‘how to sell with additional confidence’. Law firm partner Joanna Kolatsis, Director of Cruise Baltic Bo Larsen and training and development consultant Debbee Dale will be hosting the additional sessions. Flo Powell, Director of ACE told Travel Daily: “This year we’ll have a record number of ships in port. It’s an event designed get as many travel agents as possible to learn about the industry. As well as entertainment there’s extensive networking opportunities and agents with all different levels of experience will benefit and learn something new.”
There are still limited places available for visits to Crown Princess (23 June), Cunard’s QM2 and P&O Cruises Azura (25 June) and Celebrity Eclipse (26 June) which will not only be the venue for training sessions but will also host the closing convention ceremony and ACE Awards presentation.
