The Association of Corporate Travel Executives (ACTE) has named Georgie Farmer, Asia-Pacific Travel Services Manager, Microsoft Corporation, as its new regional chair for the Asia-Pacific region.
Farmer directs the company’s corporate travel category in one of the fastest growing international regions of the world.
She assumes the ACTE leadership role from Mike Bezer, Vice President Global Sales Asia-Pacific, Carlson Wagonlit Travel, who served two full terms as chair.
ACTE said part of her focus would be to increase participation in ACTE educational and professional development initiatives among those in the Asia-Pacific corporate travel industry, while bringing to the forefront those issues which are of keen interest to both buyers and suppliers.
