ADTA debuts new mobile website

Abu Dhabi Tourism Authority’s (ADTA), newly-upgraded corporate website -www.abudhabitourism.ae - is now accessible to mobile phone users worldwide including those using iPhone and blackberry devices. The special edition mobile version, located at http://m.adta.ae, provides mobile internet users access to a range of e-process services.”We are now developing on consumer site - visitabudhabi.ae - to enable it to be accessed through mobiles and we hope to produce a Japanese language version of the site before the end of this year to meet demand for Japanese language content,” said Khalid Al Hashemi, ADTA’s Director, Administration & IT.”By 2012 we hope to enable users to access the authority’s various e-services and conclude transactions by phone. This means stakeholders will be able to application for licences and renewals via phone and follow their progress by accessing the ADTA website. “We are conscious of time demands on stakeholders and visitors and are looking to ensure we are as easy as possible to do business with.”
