AED600 million hotel complex for RAK

Ras Al Khaimah (RAK) is set for a tourism boost following the announcement of plans to build a AED600 million (US$163 million) luxury hotel and residential apartment complex located in the emirate. The Gulf News has reported that the project on the Al Marjan Islands is expected to be complete by 2010 and is part of an expansion that will see 20 new hotels in RAK by 2012.
