Air China to purchase 20 new Airbus jets

Air China has agreed to buy 20 Airbus A320 planes, Channel NewsAsia has reported. The combined list price for the aircraft is US$1.6 billion dollars, but Airbus granted “significant price concessions”, Air China was reported saying in a statement to the Shanghai Stock Exchange, without divulging the exact final price tag. The company is expecting to take delivery of the Airbus aircraft in stages from 2011 to 2014, the report added.
