Air Mauritius yesterday signed a five-year agreement with Air France. Backdated to 1 October 2008, the agreement is an extension of the carriers’ previous agreement signed in 1998, and will enable Air Mauritius to codeshare Air France flights connecting in Paris (Charles de Gaulle) destinations in Europe, Israel and North Africa. Reciprocally, Air France will be able to add its code to Air Mauritius flights connecting in Mauritius.
“The agreement we are signing today brings a new dimension to the already exemplary partnership between our two airlines,” said Jean-Cyril Spinetta, Chairman and CEO of Air France. Spinetta signed the agreement with Air Mauritius’ CEO Manoj RK Ujoodha in Mauritian capital, Port Louis.
