Air India improves on-time performance

Air India achieved 100% on-time performance (OTP) of its flights on 20-21 September from Mumbai and New Delhi. According to a news report by The Hindu, overall OTP of Air India this month has been in excess of 80% on both domestic and international networks. The operational performance of August showed a significant improvement over the corresponding month last year, with passenger revenues increasing 12.3%, the network passenger load factor (PLF) rising from 67.7% to 70.3%. The PLF on domestic sector showed a jump from 64.3% last year to 73.1% this year and yields also rose by 14% across the network.
