Air India receives first new Airbus A320

The first plane in a new order of Airbus A320 Family series jets has been received by Air India, the Centre for Asia Pacific Aviation has reported. The new aircraft is part of a 43-plane order from Airbus, which includes 20 A321s, 19 A319s and four A320s. The aircraft also becomes the carrier’s 74th owned aircraft. The 140-seater A320 has a two-class configuration, with 20 seats in Executive Class and 120 seats in Economy Class.
