Air India to form Singapore JV for ground handling

Air India has signed a deal with Singapore Airport Terminal Services (SATS) to form a single joint venture (JV) company that would take care of its existing ground and cargo handling operations in Bengaluru and Hyderabad. To be named Air India SATS Airport Services Private Limited (AISATS), the JV is expected to be completed next month. Air India and SATS will each nominate three representatives to be board members of AISATS.
