AirAsia will launch its first international flights to Goa this month.
Commencing on 27 August, the low-cost carrier will operate three weekly flights between Kuala Lumpur International Airport and Goa’s Dabolim Airport.
The route will operate every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday, departing KL at 2030 and arriving in Goa at 2225. The return service will then leave at 2255, getting back into KL at 0615 the following next.
As with all AirAsia flights, the Goa service will be operated using a 180-seat, all-economy Airbus A320 aircraft.
Goa will become the second route to India launched by AirAsia in 2015, following the KL-Visakhapatnam service, which started in March. And the LCC will continue to expand in South Asia’s resort destinations in October 2015 with the start of flights from KL to the Maldives.
AirAsia India already flies to Goa from Bengaluru and Delhi.
