AirAsia X’s long-awaited first flight from to Melbourne took off yesterday. The flights from Kuala Lumpur will initially be served four times a week, though will rise to daily during the 18 December-16 March peak season.
“We’re expecting this route to perform strongly as it is one of the most requested Australian destinations from our Malaysian guests and we know Melbourne travellers are keen to have regular, affordable travel options to Malaysia.” said AirAsia X’s Chief Executive Officer, Azran Osman-Rani.
