This approval issaid to be another great achievement for the A-380 Programme and the result ofa unique operational evaluation including airport compatibility checks, routeproving campaigns and dedicated flight-testing together with the Authorities.
The A-380 has already visited more than 45 airports. By 2011, more than 70airports will be ready for A-380 operations.
The first A-380 for Singapore Airlines arrived in Toulouse in mid-July after completion of thecabin installation. It is currently undergoing final checks, prior to deliveryto in October. Emirates Airlines is due to conduct its own tests mid August2007.
