Airflights.co.uk provides extra financial security for flyers

Airflights.co.uk has included additional financial security for consumers who book flight tickets through its company to assist those unknowingly travelling with no protection. It said the volcanic disruption has highlighted the ‘continued fragile state of the sector’ and it plans to refund customers who lost their money in the event of insolvency over a non-bonded ticket. Airflights.co.uk will also arrange a flight home for affected customers. “Many of our clients are protected by the CAA’s ATOL arrangement because they are booking charter flights, however there is a massive volume who arrange unprotected flight tickets only and as a result fall outside of the government sponsored protection,” explained Airflights.co.uk Sales Manager Colin Gill.
