London’s Stansted Airport is warning passengers not take Christmas crackers on board flights over the festive period, the BBC has reported. The seasonal favourites, which produce a small, friction-generated bang, will not be allowed in either hand or checked-in luggage.
Stansted’s Terminal Manager, Neale Jouques, said; “We want everyone using the terminal this Christmas to have a stress free and enjoyable journey through the airport. Security procedures at all airports are there for everyone’s safety.”
