Al Diar Siji Hotel, a five-star business hotel in Fujairah managed by Abu Dhabi National Hotels, has completed its three-phase refurbishment.Making the most of the summer season, Al Diar Siiji Hotel’s refurbishment project covered its meetings facilities, lobby lounge, guest rooms, and landscaping.”Overall, our ultimate goal for the refurbishment is to implement fresher colours, use more natural elements and create a more relaxing and cosy atmosphere. And just as we planned, the whole project was finished by the end of the summer season,” explained Fouad Melhem, the hotel’s general manager who also heads Siji Hotel Apartments, a luxury serviced property also in Fujairah. The first-phase of the facelift included the Masafi ballroom and public areas including the lobby lounge which now sport a new look with new carpets and upgraded furniture. Two new meeting rooms were also added in addition to the hotel’s existing conference facilities. “We saw the need for smaller break-out rooms during big functions and conferences, so we opened up two boardrooms which can accommodate up to 30 persons,” added Melhem. The second phase of the refurbishment project covered the guest rooms and suites. “All our rooms are now fitted with new carpet and the wall were newly painted. Furniture and bathroom fixtures have also been upgraded,” continued Melhem. For an improved impression from the outside, Al Diar Siji Hotel also had its surroundings revamped with new gardens and improved landscaping.”With these refurbishments, we aim at maintaining customer loyalty by always meeting their expectations,” concluded Melhem.Last year, the hotel’s Food & Beverage outlets were renovated, and the hotel’s Interactive TV facility (IPTV or Internet Protocol Television System) were upgraded providing more sports content and movies, as well as kids & entertainment channels.
