A group of Alitalia workers has staged a 24-hour strike at Rome’s Fiumicino airport. Bloomberg report that the strike, which started at 6pm (local time) on Monday, didn’t have the backing of unions.
About 300 workers yesterday blocked access to aircraft for cabin staff, causing at least 18 flight cancellations, according to airport officials.
