Asia Luxury Travel Market (ALTM) has announced it will reveal the results of its luxury travel research at this year’s event, which takes place 14-17 June in Shanghai. Findings from the research will highlight preferred destinations, frequency of travel, annual spending, domestic versus international and the buyer/supplier relationship. It will allow agents to spot trends and changes in the luxury market after the fluctuation in economic conditions. After a recent survey predicted a rise in millionaires in the area, “ALTM continues to provide insight from those developing luxury bespoke itineraries and those personally organising the arrangements for their clients”, said Event Director Debbie Joslin. The research will feature in a separate conference on June 14 and will become an annual presentation. Visit ww.altm.com.cn
