American Airlines baggage handler talks fail

American Airlines (AA) and a union representing about 14,000 baggage handlers have ended talks after failing to reach a contract agreement, Bloomberg has reported. AA and the Transport Workers Union have now agreed to ask the National Mediation Board for help should further talks fail
The negotiations, which focus on wages, benefits and work rules, began in November 2007.
