Leaders in the travel, tourism and hospitality sectors will descend on the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia later this month for the annual flagship Saudi Travel and Tourism Investment Market (STTIM). Backed by the Saudi Commission for Tourism and Antiquities, the event is set to run from 27-31 March at the Riyadh International Exhibition Centre under the auspices of HRH Prince Salman bin Abdul Aziz, Amir of Riyadh.Organisers of the event claim the exhibition will present an ideal opportunity for industry insiders to gain knowledge and insight into the Saudi tourism industry as a whole and is one of the most important trade markets in the region.”This event is a key environment for business executives to discuss topics affecting the entire industry,” said Thierry Bertin, VP Sales and Marketing, Hyatt International, South West Asia.Key industry speakers working in various tourism sectors from around the globe are expected to attend the event and workshops will also be held during an event that also places positive attention on the Saudi tourism industry and raises the profile of the nation as a major destination.One of the properties that will be profiled at the event is the Park Hyatt Jeddah – Marina, Club and Spa, a five-star hotel with views of the Red Sea and King Fahd fountain. The 34.5-acre (140,000 square meters) complex includes spa and wellness facilities, the Lazurde Meetings & Events Centre, a yacht marina, as well as a variety of innovative restaurants and stylish lounges.The 142 guestrooms, including 15 suites, are luxuriously appointed and generously sized. The Lazurde Meetings & Events Centre features 26,000 square feet (2,500 square meters) of meeting and banqueting facilities adjacent to the hotel.
