ANA traffic climbs in December

All Nippon Airways (ANA) has reported its monthly traffic data for December 2010, with demand rising 15.9% year-on-year. The Japanese carrier added 27.5% more capacity in the month however, which meant that load factors slipped to 72.9%. The growth was driven by the airline’s North American and Asia/Oceania routes, which saw traffic increase by 20.5% and 20.2% respectively. In the domestic market, ANA reported a 3.4% year-on-year increase in demand, with load factors averaging 56.4%.
