All Nippon Airways (ANA) has announced that it will operate the first commercial flight of its new Boeing 787 Dreamliner as a charter service from Tokyo’s Narita airport to Hong Kong.
The flight will take place approximately one month after the first aircraft is delivered to ANA, expected to be in September. In addition, ANA will operate two domestic charter flights, departing and landing at Narita and lasting approximately an hour, allowing more customers to experience the new aircraft.
The excursion flights will be available to ANA’s frequent flyers and ANA Mileage Card members. Further information will be announced at a later date on ANA’s new Dreamliner website: www.ana.co.jp/787
Following the charters, ANA’s first Dreamliner will operate scheduled domestic services on either the Haneda-Okayama or Haneda-Hiroshima route.
