Ascott has unveiled a series of upgrades at its upscale serviced residence in Manila.
One of the two towers that form the 362-unit Ascott Makati has been completely renovated, with work the second tower due to begin in the first quarter of 2017.
The new apartments feature large living and dining areas with new fabrics and furnishings, kitchens with new appliances, and updated home entertainment systems and Wi-Fi. A range of studio, one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments are available, plus three penthouses with balconies. Some of the apartments have floor-to-ceiling overlooking the city.
“Our newly upgraded Ascott Makati is set to outclass all other serviced residences in the Philippines,” said Arthur Gindap, Ascott’s regional general manager for the Philippines & Thailand.
“Long-staying guests who are on relocation or project assignments can move into Ascott Makati without hassle, as each apartment comes with plenty of storage space, new kitchen for some home cooking if they do not wish to dine out, washing machine and dryer, as well as the convenience of daily housekeeping service.
“Business executives or holidaymakers travelling with families will appreciate the comfort of home and the privacy of their individual bedrooms within the apartment,” he added.
Along with the new apartments, Ascott Makati has also revamped its lobby, residents’ lounge, swimming pool and children’s play room. A new steakhouse restaurant, pool bar and function rooms, including a ballroom, will also be added soon.
Ascott manages seven properties in Manila and one in Cebu, making it the largest international serviced residence operator in the Philippines with more than 1,600 units. It is also planning to open the Citadines Millennium Ortigas Manila in 2017 and the Citadines Cebu City in 2019.
