VNAT is hosting the event, which will conclude tomorrow.
The agenda spotlights project cooperation in promotional activities, information sharing, crisis response, human resource development, quality of service and youth tourism. Facilitating inter-ASEAN travel is also on the table.
ASEAN members are looking to Japan, China and Korea for assistance in tourism promotion, personnel training and sustainable tourism. According to VNAT, this five-day summit is part of the lead up to Hanoi’s hosting the Presidency of the ASEAN Tourism Forum 2009.(SGT)
