Asia Pac to see 13% more flights in November - OAG

This month’s analysis of the OAG (Official Airline Guide) schedules database indicates that airlines worldwide will operate 4% more flights in November 2010, compared to November 2009. The total number of scheduled flights operating this month is 2.42 million with a seat offering of 301.6 million – an increase of 6% year-on-year. The rise in flights to and from Asia Pacific however, far exceeded the global average, climbing 13% year-on-year with seat capacity rising 12%. Within Asia Pacific there will be a 7% increase in both flight and seat offerings.
