The third annual Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA) Exchange is to take place in London on 14 March, giving the UK travel trade a unique opportunity to meet 50 of the region’s most travel and tourism brands. Organised by the UK chapter of PATA, the exchange is held following ITB in Berlin. Among these attending the PATA Exchange again this year will be product, contract and reservations managers, hotel groups, destination management companies and national tourist organisations from across Asia, Australia and the Pacific. “This is a great opportunity for us to help get the trade excited about Hong Kong,” said Sandra Kwan of the Hong Kong Tourism Board. “The appointments system is a very effective way to maximise time, with good quality buyers giving us access to customers and new markets in line with our plans for the destination.” Ian Hawkes, executive director of the PATA (UK Chapter), added: “After a difficult few years for the travel sector, there is a growing sense of optimism – and for the wonderful Asia Pacific region a great opportunity to reinforce the sheer variety, choice and value it offers.” For further information and to register visit www.pataexchange.com
