Asian Oasis’ ‘Mythical Journeys’ portfolio has seen a new opening in Chiang Rai province, northern Thailand. The Lanjia Lodge in Kiew Karn village, Chiang Khong, Chiang Rai Province, Thailand, has been developed with the Population and Community Development Association (PDA), under its programme of “Quality of Life improvement for the tribal communities”.
Set on a jungle hillside, overlooking the Mekong River and Laos, Lanjia Lodge consists of four thatched cottages, each with shared living area and four bedrooms, private bathrooms.
The hosts at Lanjia are the Hmong and Lahu villagers who will look after visitors and all activities during their stay. Contributions from their stay will be used to support community projects that will improve their living conditions and to preserve their customs and traditions.
