Asiana Airlines is planning to launch a second daily Airbus A380 flight to Los Angeles.
Effective 31 October 2016, the South Korean carrier will deploy the double-decker jet on both of its daily Seoul-LAX services.
At present, the 2020 departure from the Korean capital’s Incheon International Airport and the 0020 return flight from LAX are operated by a Boeing 777-200ER aircraft. But from late October, this will be upgraded to the 495-seat A380, which features first, business and economy class cabins.
Asiana’s other daily LAX flight, which departs Incheon at 1440 and returns from Los Angeles at 1240, is already operated by the A380.
Asiana currently operates a fleet of four A380s.
