Asiana to serve new Japanese airport

South Korea’s Asiana Airlines will be the sole carrier to Japan’s Ibaraki airport when the hub opens next month, the Korea Herald has reported. The airport will start operations on 11 March in the city of Omitama, northeast of Tokyo. Asiana will offer daily flights to the airport from Incheon International Airport, the report added.
