Ajman Tourism Development Department (ATDD), in collaboration with the Emirates Environmental Group (EEG), has taken part in can collection campaign for charity, in line with its strategic goal to sustain environmental conservation and community service.
The cans were received at the Ajman Museum, in the presence of representatives of ATDD and the Emirates Environmental Group, institutions, and various private entities.
Hotels, schools and residents also took part in the campaign with the aim to collect used aluminium cans with a view to recycling them using the highest environmental standards, as well as to raise community awareness of the importance of recycling the cans and waste in general.
Mazen Khaddour, representative of Ramada Ajman Hotel & Suites said: “The participation of Ramada Ajman Hotel with the waste cans collection campaign comes in response to the government and community efforts to raise awareness of the concept of recycling. We thank the ATDD for organising this campaign, and we will certainly participate in the coming campaigns.”
The hotel donated around 60kgs of aluminium cans.
