Atlantis, The Palm named ‘most innovative partner’ by Expedia

Atlantis, The Palm in Dubai has won the Expedia award for the ‘Most Innovative Hotel Partner of the Year’ in this year’s Expedia Insiders’ Select list. The awards formally recognise hotels which consistently deliver on excellent service, value and overall experience. The full list represents 500 of Expedia’s top-ranked hotels, selected from more than 130,000 entrants. The award was presented to Atlantis, The Palm at ATM in Dubai. Speaking at ATM, Luca Romozzi, business development manager at Expedia, said: “Atlantis, The Palm showed an innovative approach by using Expedia as a marketing platform. Atlantis was first to create a dedicated online ‘store’ in four different global websites, where visitors could book flights and hotel plus all of the activities on offer, as well as the first to create a Facebook share button.”In addition, the strategy included video integration, which was managed to leverage the Nectar loyalty programme for Atlantis package promotion and increased opportunities to cross-sell with different ‘products’ at Atlantis, such as the Aquaventure water park and The Lost Chambers underwater world.
