Banyan Tree has revealed it is looking to expand further into the Middle East market to coincide with its appearance at ATM. The hotel chain is currently showcasing its newly-launched beachfront villas at its Ras Al Khaimah property at the trade show, as well as its signature resorts in the Seychelles, Maldives and Phuket. “As the Middle East market is a key development destination for Banyan Tree, the ATM exhibition is an ideal platform for us to display our resorts and to further explore the potential of this dynamic region,” said Luca Deplano, VP of marketing at Banyan Tree. “We are currently looking at expanding in markets in Oman, Jordan and Egypt over the next five years.” In addition, Deplano will be addressing the evolving needs of the luxury traveller as a keynote speaker at ATM’s Luxury Travel Forum.
