Australian Prime Minister Kevin Rudd had to hitch a ride on Sunday after his official jet broke down in a remote area of Queensland, the Sydney Morning Herald has reported.
PM Rudd flew on to Brisbane in Queensland Premier Anna Bligh’s plane after he became stranded at a solar energy farm at Windorah, in the state’s southwest. Eight of the Prime Minister’s entourage were forced to stay behind, the report added.
