British Airways has successfully blocked a planned cabin crew strike this Christmas. The BBC reported that a UK court declared the industrial action illegal, after agreeing with the airline that the cabin crew’s union, Unite, had not correctly balloted its members on the strike. The decision means that the strike, planned to start on 22 December, cannot now proceed.
